Bookings: The San Carlo will be happy to tentatively hold or reserve a room, date and time for an event, for five (5) days.  After the hold period expires the room will be released unless the deposit of $500 is received.  The deposit is non-refundable but is transferable if the date of the party needs to be moved.  Deposits can be made by credit card, check or cash.  At the time of receiving the deposit the contract will be drawn up and signed by both the SC Banquet Manager and customer.  If a contract is sent via email, a signed copy by the customer will need to be returned to the San Carlo no later than 1 week from the time of the booking and deposit.

Party Policies and Deadlines:  Menus and all details pertaining to parties, weddings and events at the San Carlo will need to be called in 3 weeks prior to the event date.  For all social events other than Weddings final and full payment based on final head count will be due 3 days prior to the event.  Final payment can be made over the phone by credit card or in person by check or cash.

Taxes: Please make note that all parties/events at the San Carlo are subject to a 20% Service Charge and 7% NJ Sales Tax.  The State Sales Tax is calculated onto the total charges incurred including the 20% Banquet Service Charge.  State law requires this because it is a service charge and not a gratuity.
